Haha. What a gloriously awkward question. The blog post that I presume you’re referring to was intended to be a satirical comment on the fact that most fanfic descends into clumsy sexuality very quickly but I may have taken it a little more seriously than originally intended.

Practice? Natural talent, I guess. ;) In seriousness (hah) it’s just about having an active imagination and being able to translate the things you see in your mind’s eye into words… same as writing any kind of fiction.
