And, Pete Davison's hypothetical Hades consists...
1. Having to spend six hours a day strapped to a dentist’s chair watching never-ending repeats of The X-Factor.
2. Fire.
3. The possibility of redemption through completing an epic and impossible-sounding quest.

Pete Davison's hypothetical afterlife is primarily...
1. Everyone to be provided with a badass gaming PC with everything on Steam and Good Old Games installed on it. (You’re going to be in the afterlife for a while, and you’re not going to want to be flitting around all angelic-like all the time, are you?)
2. Clouds.
3. Lots of Ben and Jerry’s ice-cream. (If you’re dead, you can’t put on weight, and neither can you...

Following on from Space Channel 5, you find...
Ulala. Christina has those natural flotation devices to help her. She’s a tough cookie — she’ll survive. Impressed with my quick thinking, understanding of made-up breast physics coupled with my selfless act of rescue for a fictional character, she will then *CENSORED* in appreciation.

What is the fastest way to calm an angry Jedi? ...
Radio ahead to a colleague with a games console and a copy of Space Channel 5 Part 2 and tell him to get set up. Aggro the Jedi enough to make him follow you, but not enough to make him use Force Powers on you. Lead him to the aforementioned games console, which will have Space Channel 5 Part 2 sitting ready to play with the volume turned up nice and loud. It is impossible to stay angry while...
O HAI TUMBLR
I forgot you existed again as usual. Hello if you’re a new follower, apologies for the total lack of anything meaningful on here.
You can ask me pointless questions via the Ask Me Anything link at the side, or over on Formspring if you want to be like that.

Oh woops, I guess that wasn't a question. Do you...
I do indeed do my own drawings. Since you asked this question, I haven’t been doing them as much for various reasons, but I’ll be starting again in the new year.

I found this because I am hoping to make a google+...
I evidently haven’t logged in here for over six months. Apologies, mystery Internet stalker. Ironically, I wouldn’t call myself that much of a Doctor Who fan, despite the name of my blog (http://angryjedi.wordpress.com) — rather, it’s a reference to my real name being the same as one of the past Doctors.

e-reader or paper book?
I would have said “paper book” in the past until I tried reading a novel on my iPhone. I liked the experience very much. Lighter, easier to read in bed and in the dark and just generally a better experience. I know, I know, you don’t get that “new book smell” but really, what’s more important — the smell or the words on the page?

Steam: The Steam servers are too busy to handle your request.
You: Try again.

Where did you learn to write erotic fiction? You...
Haha. What a gloriously awkward question. The blog post that I presume you’re referring to was intended to be a satirical comment on the fact that most fanfic descends into clumsy sexuality very quickly but I may have taken it a little more seriously than originally intended.
Practice? Natural talent, I guess. ;) In seriousness (hah) it’s just about having an active imagination and...

Any opinions one way or the other about Coldplay?
Boring, whiny arseholes who make some of the most tedious music on the planet. The only exception to this rule is Viva la Vida, which I quite like but is very pretentious.

What would your last meal be of you were on death...
Another oddly frequently-occurring question. I’ll give the same answer as usual: a big-ass, high quality curry with lots of keema naan and samosas and whatnot. At least you’ll go out farting.

What game are you most looking forward to this...
I absolutely have no idea! I haven’t even thought about it, to be honest, thanks to tight finances. I have, instead, been going through my backlog, which is substantial.
If I absolutely had to pick one, though, Dragon Age II gets me all hot and bothered. I really liked what I played at Eurogamer and am intrigued to see if the full game is up to BioWare’s usual standards.

Rob Delaney: On Depression & Getting Help →
This was originally posted February 26, 2010
The passing of Andrew Koenig prompted me to write this, but it’s something that will apply to plenty of people. I have dealt with suicidal, unipolar depression and I take medication daily to treat it. Over the past seven years, I’ve had two episodes…
An excellent post from @robdelaney on depression. #whatstigma?

It will depend entirely on two things: the feature set in the final system… and which one gets an Ace Attorney game first.
I’m actually a fan of the idea of a portable “proper” (for want of a better word) console, particularly if it has some way of syncing up with the PS3 when you get home. Plus, portable Uncharted? Sign me up.
That said, I am a bit worried about the...

You thought YouTube comments were bad? Try... →
Jesus Christ. YouTube must be the whiniest community on the entire Internet. Fair enough if you don’t like a change and want to offer feedback… but… well, see for yourself.
